About Us

The need to integrate soft skills as part of daily schedule, gave us the required push to start off with The Tool Kit in 2015. It was observed that the students, teachers, office staff or even the management staff were in need of a lot of grooming and mentoring to face professional challenges.

The corporate world realized that it was in need of a drastic alteration in how employees carried themselves on a public forum. This was seen as an immediate need of the hour, as every employee essentially represents their respective organisation on his/her shoulder and the companies realised this. This realization enabled a Soft skills integration within the induction process.

About Me

Manisha Sridhar, that’s my name. A B.Com. graduate from Mumbai university, a pride in itself. Started my professional life as a client service executive in an advertising firm. With the transfers of my husband, we had a round trip to a few places in India. I left Mumbai in 1993 and found myself back here in 2008. During this period, I did small stints at schools as a teacher and a trainer for the teachers. Training came naturally to me, and as a profession, it just happened. I can confidently say that it was the best thing that could happen. Having started from scratch, I have made my way up here with sheer hard work and passion for what I am doing.

While at work, I noticed that Soft skills and Spoken English will always be a necessity. The teachers would teach Math and Hindi in the local language and would get offended with being pointed out. This was when I realised that I could take my passion for training to a different sphere. I joined an old friend at her training institute. This gave me a lot of exposure and hands-on training. This also gave wings to my dream of starting my own institute. Thus the seed of launching 'The Tool Kit' germinated. It is imperative to have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and understanding that one alone cannot do anything. It is always teamwork. Thus, building a team and being a good team player is a must-have skill. No organisation can survive without these sets of skills. Understanding the skills and the need for them in society, made me design various modules with the help of experts in the industry. Each organisation has a different requirement. Keeping this in mind, all the modules at The Tool Kit are customisable and tailor-made to suit the organisation.

Only when you are passionate about what you are doing can you give results. I love what I do and enjoy my own sessions. I ensure that the participants also enjoy and take back learning for life. Every feedback is important and that has helped me improve my modules for better results. Learning through games and activities is the USP of my modules.
